About Our Planning

Western has been working to engage all members of the campus community in the process of envisioning our future.

Together, we're developing Western’s next strategic plan.

The existing plan, Achieving Excellence on the World Stage , was adopted in January 2014 and has served us well.

The timing is right to look ahead to a new era filled with new challenges and opportunities for Western. Through a series of engagement opportunities, we have been exploring new ideas and imagining what the next chapter in Western’s amazing future might look like.

As part of a rigorous review process, a draft of the strategic plan has been submitted to Senate for review.

I hope you’ll continue joining me in this journey.
