Janice DeakinAppointed to a five-year term beginning August 1, 2010. Prior to her current roles, Janice served as Associate Vice-Principal (Academic) and Dean of Graduate Studies at Queen's University, where she has held various academic and administrative appointments since 1986.
John CaponePresently serving in a five-year term beginning October 1, 2012. Recognized as one of Canada's foremost molecular biologists, John joined Western following two terms as Dean of Science at McMaster University, where he held progressively senior academic positions since joining its faculty in 1986.
Gitta KulczyckiPrior to joining Western May 17, 2004, Gitta was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer with the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario. She has been a senior administrator in the health care sector at several leading institutions across Canada as well as holding leadership roles in the private sector.
